This Old Fashioned inspired American strong ale was brewed up with all the elements of the classic cocktail. The grain bill consists of the whiskey staples: barley, corn, wheat, and rye along with a splash of caramel malt for color and added depth of flavor. After fermentation was complete, the beer took a rest in a bourbon barrel for about a month to take on some oak and bourbon flavors. Once out of the barrel, the brew was conditioned on orange peel and a blend of citrus forward hops for some fresh aroma. The final product is sure to make any hour happy hour…cheers!
